You might spend an hour doing this, so be ready bc you don't want to stop halfway. If so, save the settings again, and back then up on a second slot if you want to be sure to not lose them. Then replay it again start to finish, and see if you're happy with it. Go back and replay, and adjust one band at a time, addressing each problem area of the track until you've made it to the end. Play your reference track from start to finish, uninterrupted, and just make a mental note of any areas where you still don't like how it sounds. Once you're done, save your settings to one of the memory slots and make a copy to a 2nd slot to play around with, so you don't lose your progress. Use your best judgment (your own ears and personal tastes). These may be a bit trickier, bc you'll want to retain detail but not sound too harsh, tinny, sterile. Once your done there, move on to the highs. If you like less pronounced vocals, being more gentle on the ears, you may keep these close to flat or slightly attenuated. If you like a forward sound, you'll probably have more boost in the mid range. Again, one at a time, until it sounds good to you with your reference track. Once you've gotten your low end, focus on the center bands. This won't always mean boosting levels above flat-you may need to attenuate some bands as well. Adjust each frequency band until it sounds just how you like it.

Be prepared to replay this one song of yours as many times as it takes, pausing, backing up, cast forward, etc., with the windows up, and any AC noise to a minimum. Starting with the EQ set to flat, focus first on the low end frequencies, going left to right. I don't know what other settings your gear has, but you might be ready at this point to mess with the EQ. Set your rears at 100 Hz, assuming they can also play down to 100 Hz comfortably (no distortion at your loudest comfortable listening level). If your fronts can handle at least 100Hz comfortably, then set your high pass x-over at 100Hz. If your unit has DSP, bring your tape measure so you can note the distance from each speaker (2 front, 2 rear, sub, etc.) to your head at your normal seating position, so you can enter that information. Think about where in thst song, you might be able to hear the guitarist's finger slide down the strings. Think about any vocals, where you know you should hear a guy take a breath before the music swells to a crescendo after a brief quiet pause. Think about time stamps where you know how a kick drum or high hat should sound on the best system you've heard.
I would recommend first choosing one song that you know like the back of your hand, and you that one song as a reference track.
